Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Are you stressed? Have you been through a traumatic event? Feel like you’re a ticking time-bomb ready to go off? Or perhaps you feel you’re running on empty.

If you feel this or have felt it, then this training is for you. If you have a desire to help others going through a similar thing, then this is for you!

Help others and yourself to improve mental health, relax and de-stress and most importantly to restore the body.

Learn the joys of restorative yoga through the first-hand experience of the postures, and also learn through hands-on experience in how to teach students of all levels.

“Andrea Peloso is a dedicated teacher who I trust to offer excellent instruction.
She cares deeply for yoga students and the practice of yoga.”
~ Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., PT, yoga teacher since 1971, and author of 8 books.

An extensive repertoire of beginner, as well as advanced postures, will be passed on to you with the detail necessary to bring depth and life-changing benefits to students. During each class, you’ll learn to set up restorative postures with increasing independence as the program progresses and you’ll get to enjoy the benefits of the practice.

You’ll learn postures in detail, as well as modify for a class with fewer props will be explored. Each pose will have 1–5 modifications to accommodate different bodies.

You’ll learn the Ayurvedic, physiological, emotional, and biomechanical elements of each pose.

What can this Training do for you?

This program has given practicing yogis poses to de-stress and calm their nervous system. It’s given tools for many yoga teachers to teach restorative yoga classes or add poses to their existing classes to bring more relaxation to people’s lives.

I have always enjoyed the practice of restorative yoga so signing up for teacher training was an easy decision to make. It helped me to explore my practice more, but also gave me the tools to teach it to others effectively. I now teach restorative regularly, both in a studio and to family and friends – the benefits of the practice are perfect for everyone!
Rachel
I found the Restorative Teacher Training to be a profoundly deep experience. The way it was taught was in a completely supportive manner and provided me with the tools to use Restorative Yoga as a method to bring about healing on an emotional and physical level. The teacher was exceptionally gifted and guided us through a logical step-by-step progression of the poses and by the end, I felt I had all of the tools I needed to offer high-quality Restorative Yoga classes to others. This training has changed me forever, for the better.
