Angela Jackson
Program Director
Angela began practicing yoga years before she was pregnant, but when she was expecting her babies, her yoga practice evolved and became so much more amazing. After she had completed her teacher training with Cynthia Funk at the Yoga Sanctuary, she knew she wanted to teach Prenatal Yoga. What Angela didn’t realize initially was how much she would love sharing her experiences, learning from her students’ experiences and being a part of their journeys. When she teaches Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, she taps into an intuitive side of herself and feels so at home. Angela wants her students to feel powerful, strong, relaxed and grounded. She wants them to love their pregnancies just like she did. She wants them to be excited about their impending labour just like she was. And she wants them to feel supported and connected in their new lives as Mothers. When she guides her students in their practice, she feels like they are also guiding her as a woman and a Mother….and this is why she loves teaching! She wants to share the passion and love she has for teaching prenatal and postnatal with other soon-to-be teachers as teaching this form of yoga is a such a gift and a rewarding experience.
